I used to work for … I used to work for a company that cleaned up properties (the hateful graffiti and destroyed fixtures) after the bank reposessed the houses from people who couldn’t pay their mortgages… Most of our billable hours went to Countrywide… LOL

did you have to put up with childish antics of
coworkers constantly losing peoples home mortgage files in the file room and stuffing toilets with toilet paper after taking a dump in them first and sometimes on the floor? I dealt with it all. it shows the quality of work CW does based on the workers they choose. I experienced just professionalism at Wamu compared to these antics.
Wamu has funny … Wamu has funny commercials…not like this. I was working there for a month in the file room. The permanent crew through McDs wrappers around the files and there was a lot of talking. Also the women were uneducated, gangster/ghetto types, criminal minded, very overweight, and just did not like to work in general. Sometimes they lost the files.
(keep this up a couple months, then take away)
Oh, eyah, on local … Oh, eyah, on local radio in SoCal, JUUUST as the news that housing prices were beginning to turn down ( about 4 months ago) was penetrating the mainstream news, Countrywide had a radio spot. “Home values are falling–get your home equity loan now, quick!” Believe that? I reported them to a local reporter, hoping he’d embarrass them publicly before they could do more damage. Don’t think he ever followed up.
In other words, … In other words, people who will have a really hard time paying the loan back. And countrywide doesn’t care if the loan defaults, because much of the time they’ve passed it off to some investor! Way to go Countrywide!
